Flower Pots Day Nursery (Gt Misseden)

Flower Pots Day Nursery was inspected on 10 March 2022 under the pre-November 2025 framework (4-area structure: Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management). All areas were graded 'Good'. This analysis maps the legacy findings to the November 2025 7-area framework. The nursery demonstrates strong foundations with nurturing staff, effective safeguarding, and good progress for children. Key strengths include excellent language modelling, effective use of children's interests, strong SEND support, and well-managed routines. Two specific areas for improvement were identified: dummy use limiting communication opportunities for younger children, and curriculum activities not always matched to children's developmental stages, particularly with 'letter of the week' activities for younger children. The nursery is well-led with strong parent partnerships and staff development practices.
