Playdays Nursery was inspected on 29 March 2022 under the legacy EYFS framework (4 areas: Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all graded Good. The setting has declined from Outstanding at the previous inspection (26 February 2016). This analysis maps the legacy framework to the November 2025 7-area structure: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching and Achievement; Behaviour and Attitudes maps to Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines; Personal Development maps to Inclusion and Children's Welfare and Well-being; Leadership and Management maps to Leadership and Governance. Safeguarding arrangements were confirmed as effective. The nursery demonstrates strong emotional security for children, effective parent partnerships, and good curriculum provision, but requires targeted improvements in staff professional development and hygiene practice consistency to move toward Strong Standard grades.
