New Park Nursery and Montessori School received an Outstanding rating across all areas in the May 2022 inspection under the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management). This report has been mapped to the November 2025 7-area framework as follows: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching (Outstanding→95); Behaviour & Attitudes remains strong (Outstanding→95); Personal Development maps to Inclusion and Welfare/Well-being (Outstanding→95 each); Leadership & Management maps to Leadership & Governance (Outstanding→95). Safeguarding was rated as effective and is mapped as Met. The setting demonstrates exceptional practice across all domains, with particular strengths in language development, outdoor learning, mathematics instruction, and staff expertise. Children make outstanding progress, including those with SEND and EAL. The setting maintains a Montessori ethos with highly responsive, child-led learning. As an Outstanding provider maintaining its rating from the previous 2015 inspection, the focus of investment recommendations is on sustaining excellence and pursuing Exceptional (95-100) grades across all areas through strategic enhancements.
